During August I read The Martian book on Audible.

Having seen the movie before reading the book, I found that the book fills in quite a few details that aren’t necessarily obvious or covered in depth in the movie.

After listening to the book it’s obvious there are some areas that were glossed over or rushed through for the movie, it feels like they could do a decent extended edition of the movie at some point.

While having the book narated by the movie characters would be ideal, the Audible naration of this book is very good and easy to immerse yourself in.

Thoroughly enjoyable: 10/10
