This month on Audible I read a book called Operation Overlight, it’s the memoir of Francis Gary powers who was a U-2 Spy Pilot shot down over Russia in the cold war.

Written in 1970 it’s very immersive and detailed account of the U-2 program and this incident which up until now I only had a basic understanding of.

I learned a fair bit about American and Russian politics, however it felt like the last quarter of the book dragged on and could have been condensed.
